Christmas Vacation

Sorry it took so long to get the Christmas pictures posted. We have so many pics that it took awhile to pick our favorites and down load. Instead of separating by each visit and occasion, I thought I'd just summarize them all here:

Joseph, Patsy, Sophie and Margot all traveled by car to the great state of Oklahoma for the holidays. First we stopped by my sister Brandi's place on the way to stay the night. They live in TN. We got to meet cousin Corbin for the first time and see our other cousins Eden, Emma and Isaac as well as uncle Kevin. Eden loved Margot but it took awhile for Emma to warm up. Within a few weeks, Emma loved Margot too.

Our first few days we spent in OK we spent in Norman. We visited Great Granny Reneau at her apartment and saw Pappy Reneau that day too. We visted Jill, Jeff and Jack Richardson. Jack got a real kick out of Sophie. What an adorable and happy little boy! We also visited Julie Frost and her son, Andrew's mom and dad, and we ate at our favorite restaurants, Pepe's and Misal. One night Grandad stayed with Sophie so mommy and daddy could go out and see old friends. They had quite a night!

Then on to Chelsea where we had Christmas Eve and Christmas with Grammy, Grandad, Aunt Ashley, Aunt Allyson, Aunt Lil, Grammy Peach, Rick, Eric and who can forget Sky. A few days later we all went to OKC to vist Granny Reneau, Pappy Reneau and Nana Reneau. We also got to see our Uncle Val, Aunt Sherry, cousins Robin, Ronnie, Ryan, Richelle and Risa. What a treat! The next day we all went to the Robinsons for lunch (yummy barbeque). They were so nice to have 13 of us in their house. We stopped by to see Lisa and her family on our way out.

Finally we went back to Chelsea where we all had family pictures together. I don't have any of those to post yet but will soon. New Year's Eve was pretty quiet but very nice. We left on New Year's Day and made it back to NYC in a few days just in time to get back to work.

All in all it was a great holiday. I don't know if we'll ever drive again but it was definitely a good experience and it made it possible for Margot to be with us. We miss everyone already and hope to see you soon. We'll try not to wait so long for our next posts.
